So strange to be on here now. Sure, I uploaded some works from time to time, but because of recent life I have lost the time for the passion of photography. It's quite sad really.

Winter break is fast approaching, finals next week and perhaps home for a few days around christmas. This year will be very different than those of my entire life; my brother will be in Kuwait awaiting his orders for Iraq or Afganistan, not with the family.

I have survived another semester, a semsester in which I finally molded from a child into an adult, fully realizing it was time to let go. Rather, a reluctant let go. I fought a very hard battle, a battle I continue to fight today and into the new year, but a battle I was proud to start. I gained much courage these past few months, found strength, and gained a wise insight into who and how you are defined. I have learned that asking for help does not make you weak, it makes you feel honest and compassionate, it shows that you have hope in humanity, that someone else can pull you out in your time of need.

I hope that very soon I can uncover the passion I once held for photography soon; I dearly miss it.
